Square Sudoku Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026. Square Sudoku is developed by DataEspresso (Christopher Ottesen, London, United Kingdom).

Summary

Square Sudoku does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. The app has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no permissions at all, including no Internet permission. Everything stays on your device.

Data stored on your device

  • The current game: the puzzle, your entries and notes, the time played, and the undo history, so you can continue after closing the app.
  • Statistics: puzzles started and solved per level, best and average times, puzzles solved without hints, and daily-puzzle results.
  • Preferences: display style, how mistakes are shown, highlights, the clock and keyboard options.

This data stays in the app’s private storage. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off for the app. If you uninstall the app, Android deletes this data. You can also reset the statistics in the app.

Data you choose to share

The app has no feature that sends or shares data.

Children

Square Sudoku does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
